Devdatta Nage is a famous Indian Television actor. He was born on 5th February 1980 in Alibaug, Maharashtra. He is originally from Alibaug village which is in raigad district of Maharashtra. He completed graduation in B.Sc Chemistry and worked in Paramedical for 10 years. He is acted in Marathi as well as Hindi films and serials. He is actor as well as model. He has done many fashion shows and he is a medalist from Mumbai University. He is a fitness freak and visits gym regularly.
His wife name is Kanchan Nage. She is a teacher by profession. They have one son named Nihar Nage.
Career & Early Life
Devdatta Nage started his acting career in 2011. In 2011, he was made her first debut on Television with Colors TV’s serial “Veer Shivaji” in which he played the role of Tanaji Malusare. He was also seen in Colors TV’s “Lagi Tujhse Lagan” serial.
Devdatta is best known for Zee Marathi’s popular serial “Jai Malhar” in which he played the role of loard Khandoba alongside Surbhi Hande and Isha Keskar. He is seen in Star Pravah’s popular serial “Devyani” in which he played the role of Bhaiyarao Vikhe Patil. He is also appeared in other Marathi serials like Mrutyunjay Karnachi Amargatha, Kalay Tasmay Namah, Bajirao Mastani. His commercial play is “Ek Mau Char Bhau”.
He was made debut in Marathi film industry through film “Sangharsh” in 2014. His Bollywood film debut was “Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara” in 2013 and “Satyameva Jayate” in 2018. In 2020, he made debut in bollywood film “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” in which he played the role of Suryaji Malusare alongside Ajay Deogan, Ajinkya Deo, Saif Ali Khan. This is the third Bollywood film of Devdatta. Tanhaji film became the first hit film of 2020 to cross 200 crore mark at box office.
He is making comeback on the small screen after 2 years with the serial “Dr. Don” which is aired on Zee Yuva channel. Besides devdatta, actress Shweta Shinde will be playing an important role in this serial.
