Anita Date-Kelkar was born on 31st October 1980 in Nashik, Maharashtra. She did her schooling from M.R. Sharda Kanya Vidya Mandir and completed her post-graduation in Master of Arts from Pune University. She is married with a Chinmay Kelkar who is an also actor. From school and college days, she has participated in a number plays and theatre.
Anita started her career in 2008 with the Marathi film Sanai Choughade. She has played a role in the various Marathi film such as Coffee Ani Barach Kahi, Ajoba, Popat, Mynah, Gandha, Seema, Ek Paying Ghost, Jogwa, and Adgula Madgula. She also played a role in the Hindi Film Aiyyaa in 2012. She has also appeared in the children’s film Zor Lagaa Ke…. Haiya.
She made her debut with serial Dar Ughda Na Gade on the Marathi Television. She acted in other Marathi shows such as Agnihotra, Manthan, Anamika, and Eka Lagnachi Teesri Goshta.
