Swpanil Joshi is a famous and talented actor, anchor and comedian on Marathi & Hindi Television. He was born on 18th October, 1977 in Girgaon Mumbai. He did his schooling from Byromjee Jijabai School, Mumbai. Then he completed graduation in Commerce B.Com from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai. He was married with Aparna Joshi in 2005, after four years they divorced each other in 2009. Then, he once again got married with Leena Aradhye, who is dentist in 2011. They are continuous their marriage life till now. He lives in Kandivli, Mumbai along with his family.
Career & early life:
Swapnil made his debut on television from Ramanand Sagar’s show Uttar Ramayan, at the age of 9 years old in 1989. He played a role of Kush in this show. Then, he played a role in Ramanand Sagar’s serial Krishna, where he played a role of as a younger Krishna. This role of his was very popular. Then, he took break for some years and came back as a youth actor from show Campus. After that, he acted so many Hindi television serials, shows such as Hudd Kar Di, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, Comedy Circus and as many. He also played a role on Marathi television for lots of serials, shows such Madhu Ithe Ani Chandra Tithe, Fu Bai Fu, Eka Peksha Ek, etc. His most popular serial was a Eka Lagnachi Dusri Goshta, where he played a lead role opposite to actress Mukta Barve. Their Jodi is very famous in Marathi industry considered as a Bollywood hit Jodi Shahrukh Khan-Kajol as like Swapnil-Mukta. They had done many Marathi serials and movies. He also participated in various comedy show such Comedy Circus, Fu Bai Fu, Eka Peksha Ek, Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka, etc.
Swapnil Joshi made his debut in film industry with Hindi Film Gulam-E-Mustafa and Marathi film Manini, starring Nana Patekar and Raveena Tandon, where he played a younger role. He acted so many Hindi Movies such as Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, The Life Zindagi, Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, etc. He has done lots of movie in Marathi such as Duniyadari, Checkmate, Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai, Pyar Vali Love Story, etc. Many of them his movie was a blockbusters movie like Duniyadari, Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai, Pyar Vali Love Story, Mangalashtak Once More, Mitwa, Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2, Bhikari, etc. He has also known as Chocolate Hero in the Marathi film industry. He hosted the many shows such Eka Peksha Ek, Ladies Special, Dhabal-Ek Timepass, etc. In 2018, he hosted a reality quiz show titled Superstars Swapnil Joshi Fan Quiz, where was winner Fadvanis got a chance dinner with Swapnil Joshi in five-star hotel. He also hosted a public contest titled Selfie With Superstar Swapnil. He was the winner of comedy show Comedy Circus Maha Sangram and Mr. and Mrs. TV along with his partner. He was also a runner’s up of comedy show Comedy Circus for first season along his partner VIP. He has also had his own radio show which was The Swapnil Joshi Show on Red FM 93.5.
