Pooja sawant is an actress. She was born on 25th January, 1990 in Mumbai and also brought in Mumbai. She did her schooling from famous Balmohan Vidyamandir in Dadar, Mumbai. She completed her graduation from SIWS College, Mumbai. She participated in various cultural programs and festival since her childhood. She also has participated lots college level competitions in her college. She won many competitions on basis of her acting and dancing skills.

Actually, Pooja’s first passion was a dance. She loved dance so much since childhood. She made her debut firstly, on Hindi television from the dance reality named Boogie Woogie on Sony TV in 2008. She performed various dance forms in this show. She was a strong contestant in this show. After that, she also participated in another Marathi dance competitions reality show called Eka Peksha Ek Jodicha Mamla on Zee Marathi. She performed dance with an actor Vaibhav Tatwadi in this show. She also hosted the show Vajle Ki Bara on Zee Talkies.
Pooja Sawant is the most popular actress in the Marathi film industry. She made her debut in the Marathi film industry from the movie Kshanbhar Vishranti in 2010. This film was multistarer film. She played a character of Nishita opposite to Moulik Bhatt in this movie. Then, she played a role in Zhakaas movie. She played a character opposite to most popular actor Ankush Choudhari in Zhakaas movie. This movies was blockbuster on box office.
