Chinmay Udgirkar is a famous Marathi actor. He was born on 8th October, 1985 in Shrirampur, Ahmednagar. He did his schooling from Ahmednagar. He completed his graduation in law LLB from Nashik and also did a BSL course. His height is around 5 feet 9 inches. He got married with his co-actress Girija Joshi in 2015. They had met with each other from they had shooting Vajlach Pahije Marathi movie.
Career & Early Life:
Chinmay made his debut on television from the television show Maharashtracha Superstar on Zee Marathi in 2009. He was contestant in this show. Before that, he had joined the theatre in Nashik and acted in the Marathi plays. After the show of Maharashtracha Superstar, he did a bit of struggle. Then, he got chance as main role in the daily soap serial. He played a leading character in the serial Swapnanchya Palikadle on star Pravah in 2010. He played a character of Shreyas Patkar in that serial. He got real identity from this serial in the industry. He became very popular, and he didn’t look back then. This serial has completed 1000 episodes and he was part of that.
Chinmay also hosted the reality show called Maharashtracha Dancing Superstar chote masters. He also played a role in another daily soap serial named Nanda Saukhya Bhare on Zee Marathi. He played a lead character of Nil Jhagirdar in this serial.
Chinmay Udgirkar made his debut in Marathi film industry with movie Shyamche Vadil in 2012. He played a leading character of Shyam in this movie. He also acted in another film which name was Vajlach Pahije. He played a main role as a Raj in this film. He also performed in the theatre. He acted for few plays like Rim Jhim Rim Jhim, Elkunchwar etc.
Now, Chinmay is working with Colors Marathi’s daily soap serial Ghadage and Suun. He played a lead character of Akshay opposite to his co-star Bhagyashree Limaye who played a character of Amruta. This serial also very popular in the audience and has completed 600 episodes for this serial. He was also seen in the lead role of Premwari Marathi Movie opposite to Mayuri Kapadane.
Chinmay got the award of Rising Star for his role of Shreyas Patkar from serial Swapnanchya Palikadle. He also won Best Debut Actor for his movie of Shyamche Vadil and also nominated the Mata Sanman Awards.
