Akash Thosar is a famous young actor. He was born on 24th February, 1993 in a small village in Karmala, Solapur. He did his schooling from Shri Shivaji Vidyamandir and Kanishtha Mahavidyalaya, Pune. Then, he completed graduation from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. He has parents father who did Masonry work also called Gavandi work and mother who is housewife. He has two sisters, both of them are married. He is not married till yet. When he was in college, he participated in few Marathi plays and nataks. Before he entered in the film industry, he was a wrestler.
Career & Early Life:
Akash made his debut with Marathi film Sairat which was directed by Nagraj Manjule. Nagraj Manjule’s brother Bharat Manjule invited to Akash for audition of Sairat, when he was met him on bus stop. Then, Akash gave audition and selected as a lead role. After that, he played as a leading role of Prashant Kale opposite to co-star Rinku Rajguru in the Sairat movie. But, he is popular as a Parshya as well as his co-star Archie. Both of their character was a very appreciated by audience, film critics and celebrities also. Both of them became a celebrity in a night. This movie was a blockbuster in the box office, closed collection to 100 crores.
Akash also played as a leading role opposite to young actress Vaidehi Parashurami in the Marathi movie FU: Friendship Unlimited which is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. He also participated in the comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show and Chala Hawa Yeu Dya as a guest. He also acted in the Netflix film Lust Stories as a leading role opposite to famous actress Radhika Apte in 2018.
He won the Best Debut Award as Male at the 3rd Jio Filmfare Awards Marathi in 2017 for his role Parshya in Sairat movie.
